Make that Bonfire WEEK!
The fireworks have continued all week. We had our own personal fireworks show from Ava and Olivia's bedroom last night. The girls seriously thought it was just for them as it was right outside their window. Scott and I were thinking it was so special and such a nice end to a great Saturday. The girls went to sleep and then all of a sudden, around 10:30, it felt like WWIII. Oh my god, we thought we were under attack. I nearly killed myself trying to get to the window, all to find fireworks almost in our backyard. I truly thought they were going to come through the window. After we caught our breath, we laughed thinking that if this ever happened back home, somebody would have been arrested! Crazy Brits!

Wow! How spectacular . . . and a little unsettling until you realized what it was. Isn't it fun to see the different customs of a "related" country? Are the fireworks legal and set off by regular people? Sounds like it. Is it done now?
Won't the girls have great stories to tell when they come home for the holidays?
