Brighton Weekend 2008
Brighton, well the only way to really describe it is Newport meets Hampton Beach/Nantasket Beach! We had a wonderful weekend away with the girls for Scott's birthday. If the girls were to sum it up, they would say they loved the Pier which really was just a big honky-tonk amusement park, and the pebble beach. They haven't put down their cheap stuffed animals, and won't stop talking about the rock sand castles we built and of course all the rides. I loved the shopping and poor Scott (and me for that matter), well we just stared into each and every pub (and there were lots) as we pushed the girls back to our hotel room each night! At some point we will return sans kids for a good pub crawl!

Michelle - Those pictures are priceless. I wish you guys had your own reality show on this adventure, I could soak up the girls all day on Tivo!! They are precious.
Now I know why we haven't had a recent entry. GREAT descriptions . . . WONDERFUL photos! The delight of those little ones and the warmth of the family come right on through. (Sand doesn't look quite so hot!)
Being a part of your adventure is a treat. Thanks for sharing it with us all.
Hugs to everyone, and happy August, the month your parents visit!!!! :-)
